Welcome
to Jupiter's newest and most unique community. Abacoa is
located within the town of Jupiter just 2? miles to the
beaches. Jupiter is known for its natural beauty with
preserved beaches and boating and fishing on the Loxahatchee
River, Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.
Abacoa
is a 2,055-acre master-planned, mixed use community,
designed around the concepts and principles of traditional
neighborhood development. The basis of Abacoa's master plan
is conductivity...a place to live, work, play, exercise,
shop, and socialize. Within the master plan are areas
identified for neighborhoods, two college campuses, three
public schools, a spring training baseball stadium, a golf
course, a main street style Town Center, community
commercial centers and a workplace campus. Interspersed
throughout the community are the greenways, open spaces that
serve as preservation areas, which also define the different
neighborhoods. Linking much of Abacoa is an element that has
all but disappeared from the American landscape...tree-lined
streets with sidewalks on both sides, creating a beautiful
and rhythmic neighborhood streetscape. The architecture of
Abacoa builds a sense of history into each home. The designs
draw from the past but offer the open, airy flow of Florida
living.
Abacoa
is home to the new Roger Dean Stadium, training site for the
Montreal Expos and St. Louis Cardinals, the new Florida
Atlantic University's North Campus and prestigious Honors
College, a planned Town Center and an 18=hole championship
golf course with clubhouse.
